Teenagers and contractors

I think when they hit the teen years they revert back to toddler hood!! Brat~baby 1 looks at you like she doesn’t understand English, Brat~baby 2 tried to blow up my microwave AGAIN today by putting 5 pieces of pizza on foil and heating them up ~ AFTER mind you he snuck pudding for breakfast and hid his homework folder from me cause he didn’t want me to see the note inside. I think Brat~baby 3 changed her clothes 3 times before the bus got here and Brat~baby 4 moved like she was in quicksand. And to think all of this before 7:30 this morning. :) Thought I would try to sneak in a little nap once they left but that didn’t work. No sooner did I fall asleep, I woke up to someone beating on my door like they were going to break it down if I didn’t answer and ringing the doorbell at the same time. By the time I got up and got to the door he was on the roof putting on the new (and much needed) shingles. Something they were supposed to do for the last 3 weeks but they decide to wait until I am grouchy and exhausted. Needless to say I am taking the day off ~ and maybe tomorrow too ~ :).

Bowling with the FRG

As usual I forgot till 20 min before we are supposed to be there. In that time frame one our lovely dogs decided to run off. Being the lovely person I am ~ I gave Wilbur until I was ready to leave to make it back home and of course he didn't. So we locked up and headed to the bowling alley and made it only 20 min late to find out the first hour was for eating and I didn't have to rush :) Brat~baby 1 was with her friend and was supposed to be home 20 min after we left so I had her go put him in the kennel cause I figured he would have returned by then (he did and was sad to be locked out~guess he'll come in next time he is called) The other 3 Brat~babies spent the next hour and a half having a ball eating all the free pizza they wanted and bowling a really close game. I guess I am going to have to make the bowling alley a regular for this summer. It is so much nicer than any we have ever been in. You get to put in if the person is right or left handed and if they want bumpers or not and they go up for the people who need them and back down for those who don't and its cheap!!! I love cheap:) I guess it was worth the rush. We had a lot of fun. Who knows maybe next time I will remember a little earlier in the day!?! OH and they sent home one and a half large pizzas for free too.
I have more cute pics of the kids. If you want to see them just let me know.

Hello to all

I guess it's about time I start a blog and let those I don't get to talk to everyday now know how we are doing. I spend from 8 am till 2:30pm usually by myself (and the 4 dogs and turtle). Hubby is deployed and the kids are in school. I am usually up late into the morning if not all night talking to hubby on the computer (which is usually spent waiting for him to get some down time to chat or for him to get off work) and catching up on sleep between 8 and noon. The kids start getting home around 2:30 then it's homework, laundry, cooking, dishes and baths. Alot of people look at my life and say "I don't know how she does it" It's not alwyas easy, but its whats normal for me and I see every day as a new gift from God. I love my family, my friends, and my life.
