A walk for Autism

I would like to ask if all you wonderful bloggers would help support a precious little boy? His name is Nolan and his family will be doing a walk for Autism on Sept 13th. I know money is tight for most of us lately, but if we can all just pitch in a little bit it will add up to a whole lot.

To make a donation ~ please click on the link above and then click on a team member under Nolan's picture.

Thank you and God bless you.

If it's not written down, it never happened.

Autism hits close to home for me, I know a few families with Autistic kids. Not to mention when I was a school teacher I had a couple kids in my classroom that were autisitc. I'm going to pass this on my blog.

Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I'm Alicia from Momdot.com and I wanted to tell you that your blog is listed on our site. I have a button that you can put in your side bar, so please email me at momdot at live dot com and I will get it to you!

StacyRenee,
Thanks for the sidebar. I'll be excited to see if it helps. I'll pass this to my wife!

StacyRenee,
Thanks very much for the donation. You didn't have to do that, but I'm happy that you did. Thanks very much for the support (my wife was soo excited to see the link on your page) --- you have a very busy family. We wish you the best.

Thank you and you are more than welcome. It's the least I can do. I wish more people would take the time to learn about what children today go through. My son has a mild case of Downs and there are people who treat him like he is incapable of doing for himslef. He is a bright and talented little boy who is full of and loves life. Between him and his sisters we are never bored. :)

trust me, we can relate to NEVER BORED! and we get the same reactions. autistic kids can be a handful in public, and we get looks like "why can't you contol that kid" (read this --- http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/765609/why_cant_your_child_behave_in_public.html?cat=70 --- if you get a chance --- just one of the many things we've gone through. If you ever need people who understand a houseful of kids (never mind the special needs part), we're here for ya!!!
